Trinity Church

On Sunday, March 28, 2010 our area bishop, The Right Rev. Terry Dance, will be at Trinity Church to join us for worship.  When a bishop visits our church, it provides us with an opportunity to hold a Confirmation service that includes the renewal of baptismal vows.  Confirmation enables you, along with others in your church family, to make known your love for and commitment to the Lord Jesus AND to receive a special prayer from the bishop asking God to fill and empower you with the Holy Spirit.  Often in this prayer the bishop asks God to give you the spiritual gifts you need to live a more meaningful life as a Christian.  This worship service also provides the congregation with an opportunity to celebrate your life in Christ in special ways including prayers for your continued spiritual growth plus a reception.    So...if you want to explore the possibility of being confirmed by Bishop Dance or if you want to reaffirm your baptismal vows, please contact The Rev.
